The Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (DOPPS) is celebrating its 20-year anniversary of uncovering new clinically useful information for the practicing nephrologist. The DOPPS is an international prospective cohort study of representative hemodialysis patients and practices in 21 countries.
In their recent paper “Understanding associations of hemodialysis practices with clinical and patient-reported outcomes: Examples from the DOPPS,” investigators provide an overview of major findings and comment on the analytical approaches used. This open access paper is freely available online.
