Charitable Giving at Arbor Research

Arbor Research believes in giving back. We developed our charitable giving program to establish a level of philanthropy at Arbor Research that reflects both the mission of the organization and the community interests of our staff.

There are four main components to our charitable giving program:

1. Individual Match Program

To reflect the demonstrated giving priorities of our staff, Arbor Research matches charitable contributions to eligible charities up to $350 annually.

2. Institutional Donations

Arbor Research contributes lump-sum donations to charities at a regional, national, and international level. So far in 2017, we have sponsored local non-profit events and programs and donated to over 15 charities, including....

  • Ann Arbor YMCA
  • Camp Kesem

  • International Rescue Committee

  • Leader Dogs for the Blind

  • Michigan Environmental Council

  • Michigan Radio

  • Michigan Theater

  • Washtenaw Community College Foundation Scholarship

3. Disaster Relief

Arbor Research makes at least one donation per year to address an acute need arising from a natural or intentional disaster. So far in 2017, we have contributed to help with famine relief in eastern Africa.

4. Charitable Drives

Arbor Research organizes several donation drives each year to collect goods for eligible local charities. In 2017, members of our staff donated blood at our Red Cross blood drive and contributed goods to the UNIFIED Conover Food Pantry serving people living with HIV/AIDS.

Employee Impact Spotlight

Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity
In October 2017, Arbor Research staff members volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to work on two houses in Ypsilanti. Employees helped with cleanup to prepare these houses for exciting new remodels!

UNIFIED Food Drive
In November 2017, Arbor Research employees donated food, personal care items, and cleaning supplies to the UNIFIED Conover Food Pantry, which serves people living with HIV/AIDS. We surpassed our previous donation record, collecting nearly 1000 pounds of goods and donating hundreds of dollars!
