Arbor Research Collaborative for Health Welcomes New Vice President (VP) of Research, Dr. Cori Sheedy

Dr. Sheedy will apply her expertise in health services, behavioral health policy, healthcare integration, and care transformation to a variety of Arbor’s research projects.

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Cori Sheedy as our new Vice President of Research. Dr. Sheedy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in health services and behavioral health policy, healthcare integration, and care transformation. Prior to joining Arbor Research, Dr. Sheedy designed, directed, and conducted large-scale evaluation projects and provided research, technical assistance, and implementation support for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and other federal, state, and private agencies and organizations.

With more than 20 years of experience at Abt Associates and the Lewin Group, Dr. Sheedy led a portfolio of over $30M in revenue, including the $23M Integrated Care for Kids (InCK) Model Evaluation for CMS and the $8M evidence-based resource clearinghouse contract for SAMHSA. Additionally, Dr. Sheedy supported the CMS Maternal Opioid Misuse (MOM) evaluation, the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Translation Center, the CMS Comprehensive Primary Care Plus Initiative, the evaluation of the Medicaid Healthy Indiana Plan, and other projects related to social drivers of health.

In her new role, Dr. Sheedy will provide a blend of project-specific and scientific leadership, business development, and staff mentorship. She will also play a key role in expanding Arbor Research’s client base and driving growth in research.

Dr. Sheedy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from Union College and a Master of Arts in Social Policy and PhD in Social Policy from Brandeis University. Her home office is in New Hampshire.
