Arbor Research develops and maintains the Center for Disease Control’s website for the Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Surveillance System, as part of a project that was awarded to the University of Michigan and the University of California, San Francisco.
This project assesses the prevalence of CKD, its impact on our health care system, and resources used by patients. It also assesses the quality of care delivered to patients, identifying areas where improvements could be made to slow disease progression and reduce morbidity and mortality.
The CKD website is but one example of Arbor Research’s implementation of systems in federal environments. We IT departments from Arbor Research, the CDC, and other government contractors work closely to implement the surveillance system in a .government environment.
