USRDS: United States Renal Data System

From 2014 to 2019, Arbor Research Collaborative for Health served as a member of the coordinating center for the United States Renal Data System (USRDS) under the University of Michigan. The USRDS is a national data system that collects, analyzes, and distributes information about end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in the United States. The contract is funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).

The coordinating center, in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), provides clinical, biostatistical, epidemiological, data management, and analytical expertise necessary to maintain and update the existing USRDS database.
