The DOPPS Practice Monitor (DPM) was launched in December 2010 to track data on hemodialysis practices in the United States, and since has been expanded to include data from Canada and Germany. The DPM reports representative data on contemporary trends in dialysis practice. It provides comparisons and trends over time, using weighting techniques. Data are also provided by race and facility types.

What will I find in the DOPPS Practice Monitor?

• Over 1500 regularly updated charts, figures, and data tables
• Dialysis data from a sample of over 11,000 patients in more than 200 US hemodialysis facilities
• Research papers describing the DPM methods and findings, as well as recorded presentations of trends
• The most timely data available: data are updated every four months, with only a three-to-four month lag between data collection and web posting
